  Matthew Muckey is a celebrated classical trumpeter from California. He studied under Charles Geyer and Barbara Butler at Northwestern and quickly joined the New York Philharmonic. His global performances and awards showcase his artistry, while his offstage time is devoted to golf, fishing, and raising his two kids in New York. With decades of experience and worldwide recognition, Matthew Muckey brings passion and excellence to classical trumpet performance. He joined the New York Philharmonic right after graduating from Northwestern. He’s also a Tanglewood Fellow, Roger Voisin Award winner, and enthusiastic family man who enjoys outdoor sports, travel, and time on the golf course.
